I thought I'd share some of the sunshine and blue skies that we typically enjoy here in St George UT on this January day.  This photo was taken a couple of days ago in the lovely desert community of Kayenta which is just 7 miles from St George.

Christmas cheer comes to St. George and other Washington County families this holiday season from Dixie State College. The college students and faculty members have come together to continue their support of the KONY-FM “Coins for Kids” radio campaign. This campaign helps get families in the Christmas spirit all around St. George and other communities in Washington County, UT. This year, they have gathered to purchase and donate over 400 gifts, which is the largest in the school’s history.

The Dixie State College family has toys, diapers, clothes, coats, shoes, and more for all boys and girls ages six months to 12 years. The gifts will be given through Dixie State’s “Gift of Dixie” Christmas tree and Dance activities.

This is the best part of the Christmas season to many involved in the campaign. Students from Sunrise Ridge Intermediate School raised over $1,000 for the “Gift of Dixie” effort. This money went toward a major gift shopping spree. Now, all donated and purchased gifts will be wrapped by volunteers and placed under the Dixie State College Student Association Christmas tree until they are ready for delivery.

This is an effort that many community members truly appreciate. It’s inspiring to see so many young college students working so hard to make a difference in someone’s life and brighten their holidays.

 Entrada at Snow Canyon in St George Utah Real Estate Market Report ~ November 2011 is as follows:

6 Entrada at Snow Canyon homes have been sold in the last month:

                                                         1 home sold for under $200,000
                                                         2 homes sold for between $300,000 and $400,000
                                                         2 homes sold for between $500,000 and $700,000
                                                         1 home sold  for just over $700,000 at $715,000

There were 61 homes for sale in the Entrada area during the month of November 2011 which is a 27.4% decrease from November 2010 when there were 84 homes for sale.

Sales in Entrada at Snow Canyon for the month of November 2011 are up 200%-from 2 homes sold in November 2010 to 6 homes sold in November 2011.

Average sales price for a home in Entrada at Snow Canyon in November 2011 was $470,410. This is a decrease of 9.54% over last years sales prices which averaged $520,000.

Entrada is an exclusive guard gated community in St George Utah offering it's residents a wide variety of world class amenities.  Prices have dropped dramatically over the last couple of years and I believe Entrada is poised for significant real estate growth due to it's current affordable prices on luxury living and fabulous scenery.
