2015 St George Christmas Light Spectacular

2015 St George Christmas Light Spectacular

2015 Christmas Light Spectacular

Hedgehog Electric has published their 2015 St George Christmas Light Spectacular map (see below) already!  One of my favorite holiday traditions is jumping in the car, bundling up with blankets and hot cocoa, turning up the Christmas tunes and driving around St George to see all the gorgeous light displays!

No more driving around, wandering through neighborhoods, hoping to see some nice lighting displays! Hedgehog Electric has taken the guessing game out of it and is sponsoring "The 2015 St George Utah Christmas Light Spectacular". They even provide a driving map to some of the most creative and elaborate homes and businesses in the St George area this year.  Be sure to check out the new map this year, they've added some new locations and additional holiday events.

HedgeHog Electric will also donate $1 to the Dove Center for all Facebook likes received on their Facebook page during the month of December. All of the displays are free of charge, although some of them may invite you to make a donation which would go to various causes.

Enjoy the holiday season and take some time to visit these displays, it's a great way to get into the holiday spirit!

I always take a few minutes hours out of my schedule each year to run by and visit the festival the Dickens Christmas Festival-St George Utahmyself!  I'm never disappointed and always glad I made the time to wander through the "streets"! Lots of shoppes set up offering a variety of wares.  All of of the shoppes are manned by artisans dressed in olde English attire and are decorated to match the theme of the festival.  Arts, crafts, home items and gifts are some of the items available to purchase.  The festival always has some unique items you can't find anywhere else that might be the perfect Christmas gift for that "hard to buy for" person on your list.

donuts at the Dickens FestivalThere's lots of food to eat offered at the Dickens Festival as well. You can choose from Mr. Bumble's Buns giant cinnamon rolls, crepes filled with ham, cheese and asparagus, authentic fish and chips and ethnic food to name a few.  Of course there's also plenty of goodies like carmel apples at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate cart and funnel cake!

The Dickens Festival also offers entertainment such as theatrical performances of "Oliver Twist" and "Scrooge" each night as well as music presented by local schools and performers.
