It's almost time for the annual Washington City Cotton Days celebration which begins on April 25 with the city parade and Cotton Fest at Veteran's Park. More fun & activities throughout the week with the WCCC Family Swim Night, Historical Society Ice Cream Social, Barrel Racing and Junior Rodeo and so much more. Ivins Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at UNITY Park on the large baseball/soccer field. It begins at 9:00 a.m. The divisions for this year will be: Division 1 – 4 years old and Under – Children in Division 1 must have the ability to walk and pick up eggs without assistance from parents; however, one parent may be in the hunting area with their child to give guidance and direction. Division 2 – Ages 5, 6, 7 and 8 Division 3 – Ages 9, 10, 11 and 12 No parents will be allowed to help in Divisions 2 and 3!
The 30th Annual Easter Car Show is being held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 in Hurricane Utah. This event is sponsored by the Hurricane Rotary Club. Located at the Hurricane High School Athletic Field , 100 West 100 South, Hurricane Utah. The car show has become a tradition for many families in the area. The Rotary Club hosts between 8,000 and 10,000 visitors to the show each year. Over 300 entries will be present, from all over the west. New Mexico, Nevada, California and Wyoming to name a few of the states represented. The show begins at 9 am and runs until 5 pm. A charitable donation of $5 for adults gets visitors into the show and children under 6 are free.
Jumpin' Jacks Easter Carnival is being held on Saturday April 4, 2015. The Easter bunny will be there with an Easter egg hunt with over 2000 filled eggs. Tickets are just $6.50 and includes 1-free game ticket, unlimited jumping, and the egg hunt. Tons of fun game booths where everyone gets a prize. 5th Annual Findlay Easter Egg Hunt-Planet 94.1 and Findlay KIA bring you the 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Bring your kids ages 0-10 years old for this fun Easter event. The Easter Bunny will be present along with the KIA Hamstars!

Easter Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. for the 0-5 year olds. The 6-10 year olds will begin approximately 2-3 minutes later. This is to give those parents with children in different age groups a chance to be near their children.
0-5 year olds will participate on the lot of Findlay Subaru/Hyundai.
6-10 year olds will participate on the lot of Findlay KIA.
Please respect the rules and age groups so that all children will enjoy this experience.

Who doesn't love bacon? What a great way to indulge in a little bacon and burn off some of those calories while participating in a wonderful fund raiser for the homeless.
The Hog and Jog 5K is bringing home the bacon for the homeless. This 5K Fun Run is all about that bacon. There will be bacon at the start of the race. There will be bacon at the aid station. There will be bacon at the finish line. This race will not be timed and is designed to be fun for all ages, as we celebrate the awesomeness of bacon. We will have music on the course and at our Hog and Jog Selfie Stations.
Not only are you getting to eat bacon on this race….you also get a pink piggy t-shirt, a piggy snout (piggy snout for the first 250 registered participants), free pictures posted to Facebook that you can tag or post from Santiago Photography, and an AMAZING Hog and Jog 5K Finisher medal. This is the BACONJACKPOT! We will have prizes for the first 3 female and male finishers.
Proceeds to benefit Switchpoint Community Resource Center.
How are we bringing home the bacon for the homeless? A good chunk of your entry fee (half of the net proceeds) is going to be donated to SwitchPoint Community Resource Center in St. George, UT. Just a few days left of the Parade of Homes in St George Utah this year! The Parade of Homes runs from February 13-22, 2015. There are 28 gorgeous homes on display and the majority of them are affordably priced making them appealing to a variety of homebuyers.
There's something for first time home buyers, homes to fit large families and even something for the empty-nesters to oooh and ahhh at! Although most of the homes are more affordable that doesn't mean they're lacking in design, decor or creativity.

St. George Half Marathon, 5K and Tuff Kids - This is southern Utah’s longest running and largest half marathon, attracting over 2500 runners. This spectacular race is on paved city trails that wind along the Virgin River and take you through the beautiful landscape of St. George. Race entry fee includes a long sleeve shirt, finisher medal for all ½ marathon and tuff kids’ finishers, chip timing, and delicious post race refreshments.
