The Sun River St George housing market is on FIRE as demand increases for this spectacular community! Available inventory is shrinking and prices continue to rise. You’ll notice that sales prices are increasing and homes priced under $200,000 are diminishing quickly. Check out the latest statistics below~
SunRiver is the premier active adult 55+ community in southern Utah. Residents of Sun River can enjoy golf, lawn bowling, horseshoes, walking, biking and pickleball to name a few of the amenities offered. Don’t mistake that Sun River St George is a “rest home”. It is probably the furthest thing from it! There is a calendar full of events and activities provided for it’s residents to enjoy. Think of it as a cruise on land.

For a year over year comparison-
Average Sales Price in September 2013 was $381,305-September 2012 was $221,758. Sales prices increased 71.95% from September 2012-September 2013.
Given the number of sales, there is a 3.19 months supply of SunRiver homes for sale which is down 46.02% from last year at this time when there was 5.91 months supply of SunRiver homes for sale.
In September 2013, homes in SunRiver sold for 98.6% of their original listed price!
There were 46 homes for sale in September 2013 which is 18 less than last year at the same time. Inventory has decreased by 28.1% and will continue to decline as demand rises.
Prices are great, although they look to be rising and inventory of homes for sale in SunRiver is declining too. interest rates are at historic lows which makes this a wonderful time to purchase a home in SunRiver St George! It looks like the St George Utah real estate market is bouncing back and prices are starting to rise.
