SunRiver St George 55+ Community Market Update |  January 2014

The Sun River St George housing market continued to be strong during the month of January 2014.  Available inventory is shrinking and prices continue to rise. You’ll notice that sales prices are increasing and homes priced under $200,000 are diminishing quickly.  Check out the latest statistics below~SunRiver St George

  There were 9 homes sold in SunRiver during January 2014-

3 homes sold for between $200,000-$250,000
2 homes sold for between $300,000-$400,000
3 homes sold for between $400,000-$500,000
1 home sold for more than $500,000

For a year over year comparison-

Average Sales Price in  January 2013 was $356,730-in January 2014 it was $370,292. Sales prices increased 3.8% from 2013 to 2014. 

Given the volume of sales, there is a 4.24 months supply of SunRiver homes for sale which is down 27.02% from last year at this time when there was approximately 5.81  months supply of SunRiver homes for sale.

During the month of January 2014, homes in SunRiver sold for 96% of their original listed price!

There were 66 homes for sale in  January 2014 which is 4 more than the previous year in 2013. 

Prices are great, although they look to be rising and inventory of homes for sale in SunRiver is declining too.  interest rates are at historic lows which makes this a wonderful time to purchase a home in SunRiver St George!  It looks like the St George Utah 55+ Communities market is bouncing back and prices are starting to rise.

You’d better hurry if you want take advantage of the great opportunities currently available in SunRiver!  According to the developer, building costs are on the rise, so now could be the perfect time to buy
