Here’s the SunRiver St George 55+ Community Market Update for March 2020.  There’s a lot going on in the world right now so you may be wondering if now is a good time to buy a home in SunRiver St George.  Let’s take a look at the statistics year over year to see what’s happening.

Sun River provides a fabulous environment for it’s residents that are 55 years young or better.  At least one resident of the home must meet this age requirement and no permanent residents are allowed under the age of 18.

Residents of Sun River St George 55+ community can enjoy golf, lawn bowling, horseshoes, walking, biking and pickleball to name a few of the amenities offered.  There’s also indoor and outdoor pools to enjoy year round!  Don’t think for a minute that Sun River St George is  a “rest home”.  There is a calendar full of events and activities provided for it’s residents to enjoy.

There were 17 homes sold in SunRiver during the month of March 2020-

4 homes sold for between $250,000-$300,000
4 homes sold for between $300,000-$350,000
2 homes sold for between $350,000-$400,000
3 homes sold for between $400,000-$450,000
2 homes sold for between $500,000-$750,000
1 home sold for between $750,000-$800,000

For a year over year comparison-

Average Sales Price in March 2020 was $389,992- in March 2019 it  was $382,225.

That’s a 2.03% increase in average sales price from last year!

There were 49 active home listings during March 2020 and 64 in March 2019 so inventory has decreased significantly year over year.

Seventeen homes sold in Sun River during March 2020 and there were 14 sales in March of 2019.

Average days on the market for a home listed in Sun River 55+ Community during March 2020 was 67.  There was a 2.63 months supply of inventory in SunRiver during March.

Interest rates are still near historic lows making this a wonderful time to purchase a home in SunRiver St George!  You may want to consider a Reverse Mortgage for purchasing a home in SunRiver, a lot of buyers do!
