Why I Like Living in the St. George Utah Area
Why I like living in the St. George Utah area is an important part of why I sell St. George and surrounding area real estate. Living in the St. George area helps make it easy for me to help buyers who are moving to the area since I know the community so well. And, Utah’s Dixie is a really great place to be.
A few reasons I like St. George:
Weather:
St. George is known as “Utah’s Dixie” because of its warm climate and over 300 sunny days per year. At times throughout the year you can enjoy a round of golf in shorts in the morning, and spend the afternoon and evening skiing at Brian Head.
In and around St. George there are plenty of activities for everyone, from golf, softball, hiking and mountain biking, to art galleries, animal museums and theatrical performances at Tuacahn.
Education:
Washington County has been experiencing major growth. The county is now the 4th fastest growing in the nation. However, they are still top in the nation for great schooling. Schools in St. George are made up of public schools and many private schools.
Dining:
Whether you are searching for a fun place to take all of the kids or a romantic booth for you and your significant other, St. George, Utah has just what you are looking for. Many local St. George restaurants have a broad range of foods and rave reviews.
Proximity:
St. George is in the most Southern part of Utah just miles from Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, several ski resorts and more.
Of course the local real estate market is a large part of why I like St. George so much. You can find everything you’re looking for in one great location. St. George offers several wonderful communities such as golf course communities, gated communities, adult communities, senior communities and more.
When visiting St. George, just be warned that if you come for a visit, you may want to move here!
