Christmas in the Canyon at Tuacahn | Live Nativity in St George Utah

Whether you live in or are visiting St. George UT for the holidays, there are many events to attend to help fill your time and make your holidays Holiday Lightsthis year, one to remember.

Tuacahn’s annual Christmas in the Canyon event returns and will continue through December 22nd. The event is held at the Amphitheater located at 1100 Tuacahn Drive in Ivins. The Canyon festivities are held every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The event includes the live nativity, holiday hay ride and, of course, Santa will be there. You can also enjoy plenty of entertainment in the main plaza, too. Sit by the open fire and enjoy some delicious hot cocoa while you take in the sights and sounds of Christmas!

You can visit the live nativity, which is held in the Amphitheater. There are two performances each night at 7 pm and  8 pm. Performances last approximately 20 minutes.  Admission is $2 per person or $15 per family. The nativity is presented by a volunteer cast of local groups that consists of 40 to 80 volunteers along with live animals.  The Holiday hayride is an additional $2 per person. Participants are taken for a tour of the grounds to see the 318,000 holiday light display. Camel rides are also available this year and cost $5 per person.  Visiting Santa and all of the entertainment in the plaza is free to everyone.

If you’d like to volunteer in the live nativity you can call 435-656-3200 or email them at information@tuacahn.org. Other festivities include concerts in the indoor Hafen Theatre. Dates and Times are listed below for each event. You can visit tuacahn.org for information and ticket purchase.
