Whether you live in or are visiting St. George UT for the holidays, there are many events to attend to help fill your time and make your holidays this year, one to remember.

Nativity in St George UT

Tuacahn’s annual Christmas in the Canyon event returns and will continue through December 22nd. The event is held at the Amphitheater located at 1100 Tuacahn Drive in Ivins.

The Canyon festivities are held every Monday,Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The event includes the live nativity, Holiday Train ride on Old Salty Train provided by Ruby’s Inn and, of course, Santa will be there. You can also enjoy plenty of entertainment in the main plaza, too. Sit by the open fire and enjoy some delicious hot cocoa while you take in the sights and sounds of Christmas!

You can visit the live nativity, which is held in the Amphitheater. There are two performances each night at 7 pm and  8 pm.  The nativity is presented by a volunteer cast of local groups that consists of 40 to 80 volunteers along with live animals. Performances last approximately 20 minutes.  Admission is $2 per person or $15 per family.
The Holiday train ride is an additional $2 per person.  Admission to Tuacahn and visiting Santa and all of the entertainment in the plaza is free to everyone.

If you’d like to volunteer in the live nativity you can call 435-656-3200 or email them at information@tuacahn.org.  You can visit tuacahn.org for information and ticket purchase.
