Easter Activities in St George UT 2017
Are you looking for Easter activities being held in St George Utah this year? There are lots of fun events planned so be sure to take your family to one or all of them! Spring has sprung and the weather should be gorgeous so celebrate the season!
Cottontail Scramble Egg Hunt– On Monday, April 10, 2017 the City of St George will hold it’s annual Cottontail Scramble Egg Hunt. The festivities start at 6 pm sharp at the Tonaquint Nature Center. Tonaquint Nature Center is located 1851 S. Dixie Dr, St George.
Peter Cottontail will be hopping into Tonaquint Nature Center and hiding hundreds of eggs throughout the park for children ages 2-8. Kids can start check in and pick up their bag and craft at 5:15 pm. Peter will be at the park starting at 5:15 pm to take pictures. The Hunt will begin at 6 pm sharp!
Parents can register for the event in person at the St. George Recreation Center at 400 E. 285 S. or the St. George Commons Building at 220 N 200 E. The Scramble is $3.00 per child and includes a craft and hunt bag. Each registered participant will receive a FREE kids’ meal sponsored by Chuck-A-Rama Buffet.
The hunt starts at 6 pm SHARP so don’t be late!

Kiwanis Club Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15, 2017. The event will take place at Vernon Worthen Park, 300 S 400 East St George UT. The fun starts at 10:00 am and runs approximately 2 hours for participants ages 0-12
Sponsored by the St. George Kiwanis Club, 5000 eggs plus candy and prizes will be given away!
The Egg Hunt is over quickly, so please arrive early! Admission is Free
Ivins Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at UNITY Park on the large baseball/soccer field. It begins at 9:00 a.m. The divisions for this year will be:
Division 1 – 4 years old and Under – Children in Division 1 must have the ability to walk and pick up eggs without assistance from parents; however, one parent may be in the hunting area with their child to give guidance and direction.
Division 2 – Ages 5, 6, 7 and 8
Division 3 – Ages 9, 10, 11 and 12
No parents will be allowed to help in Divisions 2 and 3!
All participants must provide their own Easter egg basket~
Easter Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza, Saturday April 15, 2017. The Eggstravaganza is sponsored by First Colony Mortgage. Activities include basket making, egg decorating, hula hoop contest. This event runs 11 am to 1 pm at JC Snow park, 300 E 900 South St George UT. The Easter Egg Hunt will be at 12:00 pm. Admission is FREE
The 32nd Annual Easter Car Show is being held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in Hurricane Utah. This event is sponsored by the Hurricane Rotary Club. Located at the Hurricane High School Athletic Field , 100 West 100 South, Hurricane Utah. The car show has become a tradition for many families in the area. The Rotary Club hosts between 8,000 and 10,000 visitors to the show each year. Over 300 entries will be present, from all over the west. New Mexico, Nevada, California and Wyoming to name a few of the states represented. The show begins at 9 am and runs until 5 pm. A charitable donation of $5 for adults gets visitors into the show and children under 6 are free.
Easter Fireside- “He is Risen” performed by the Southern Utah Heritage Choir is being held Sunday, April 16, 2017 at 7:00 pm. The performance will be held at the Morningside LDS Stake Center, 881 S River Rd. St George Utah. The choir is pleased to present this performance for everyone, free of charge.
