The St George Parade of Homes 2021 is over for another year. I had the chance to attend and saw some spectacular properties! There were 30 custom built homes on display ranging in price from $395,000 to $4,800,000.
In addition to showcasing over the top, extravagant homes, the St George Parade of Homes usually partners with the Washington County School District and the Careers in Construction Program. The home is built by WCSD high school students – in partnership with local subcontractors, this home showcases everything the students have learned and applied during the home building process. This years entry was a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage, 1786 s.f home priced at $395,000
Here’s a few of my favorite homes from the Parade this year~
#13 – The Joel built by AJ Construction and located in Kachina Cliffs at Entrada. This southwest/modern style home sits high up in Kachina Cliffs affording it breathtaking views. It featured 5 bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths, a 4 car garage and 5115 s.f. of living space. It was priced at $4,800,000 and was NOT for sale. Just look at those red mountain views!!
#18 – The Canyon Views at Sunbrook built by Sun Hill Development and located in the Canyon View Ridge subdivision of Sunbrook Golf Course Community. It features 7 bedrooms, 7 baths, 3 car garage and 7,670 s.f. of living space. It was priced at $2,350,000 and was NOT for sale. I loved the large courtyard which invites visitors to come in and sit for a while by the fire pit. Once you enter the home, you’re greeted by panoramic views of Pine Valley, Snow Canyon and the lush golf course.
#21 – Beach Front built by Split Rock Fine Homes and located in The Shores at Desert Color. This home is zoned for vacation/nightly rental use which is becoming very popular in the St George area. IT features 3 levels, 7 bedrooms, 8 1/2 baths, 3 car garage and 4,870 s.f. of living space. This home was priced at $1,500,000 and was NOT for sale. This home is definitely one of a kind here in the desert of southern Utah! It is “beach front” property located on the white sandy beach of Desert Color’s 2 1/2 acre swim lagoon. The view of the lagoon from most rooms is impressive. Of course there’s also a gorgeous private pool for guests to enjoy! More views and lounge space is available on the large deck up top. A cozy fireplace and plenty of seating make the deck a perfect place to enjoy the evening.
