The biggest art event in the state of Utah is entering its final week in St. George, UT. The Silver Anniversary Sears Dixie Invitational Art Show and Sale is having a final week of public viewing that will end on March 25th. You Utah Art Showscan find the art show at the Delores Dore’ Eccles Fine Arts Center, which is located on the campus of Dixie State College of Utah.

The Sears Dixie Invitational Art Show and Sale is in its 25th year on the campus of Dixie State College. This year, you can find over 270 works of art that are featured at the show. Nearly 150 of those pieces are from renowned artists from around the nation and from right here in Utah.

Each year there is a Best of Show Purchase Prize and Best in Show, which was awarded to artist Jeremy Winborg from Utah. He won the award for is oil painting “Shoshone Dolls”. And, this was his first award at the Sears Dixie Invitational Art Show. This award has earned him the honor of serving as the adjuctor for the next Sears Dixie Invitational. His painting will also be a permanent fixture at Dixie State College in the art collection.

You can view the art in the Robert N and Peggy Sears Art Museum Gallery until Sunday. Exhibit hours are from 10:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Saturday, and 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Sundays.
