We’re finally starting to see some great weather around here and you know what that means… more time outside! Here’s what’s happening around St. George May 2019.

Ironman North American Championship

May 4 th 2019 over 2500 athletes compete in the Ironman 70.3. ST. George has a distinguished reputation as a challenging and honest race and is one of the most challenging in the country. While the scenery and terrain are worth it alone, only the best compete in this grueling race.

Farmers Markets Open

It’s that time of year again and probably my favorite. The Tuacahn Saturday Market and the Downtown Farmers Market open this next month on May 4th and May 11th. The downtown farmers market is located in Ancestor Square from 9 am to 12 pm and it’s free to the public. Come check out the first harvests of the season with spring peas and lettuce, homemade jams and jellies, bread, cheese, meat and more.

The Pajama Game

This musical is playing at the SGMustical Theater through May and is based on the 1953 novel 7 1/2 Cents. It’s a great way to support local theater.

Old West Celebration

On the 4th weekend of every month, you can experience life in the 1870s in a Silver mining Ghost town. Located at the Silver Reef Museum at 1903 Wells Fargo Rd in Lees, you can experience wild west shootouts artists, period costumes and more.

These are just a few of the fun events happening this next month around St. George. What do you plan on doing? I know I, for one, will be enjoying this sunny weather!
