Hurricane Peach DaysThe traditional event  “Peach Days, A Celebration of our Heritage” will begin on Thursday September 2, 2021 at 5 pm.   The event will be held on Thursday 9/2/2021 through Saturday 9/4/2021.

I attended the first Peach Days when I moved to St George Utah 23 years ago, and I don’t think I’ve missed one since.  It was heartbreaking last year when it had to be cancelled.  It’s such a fun event to take the family to and has become an annual tradition for mine!  We’re so glad we’ll get to attend Hurricane Peach Days this year!

There’s always plenty of food booths showcasing many different types of cuisine.  In years past, some of the local scout or youth groups have also had food booths to raise money for their organizations.  In the past there’s been tamales, hamburgers, chicken and pizza to name a few. There’s usually at least one booth selling Navajo Tacos, a local favorite!  How about a piece of Navajo Fry Bread with butter and honey?

It wouldn’t be Peach Days without booths selling a variety of peach dishes.  You usually can find dutch oven peach cobbler, peach smoothies, peach preserves and peach ice cream just to name a few. Of course, there’s a Peach Cook-Off! You can also purchase cases of locally grown fresh peaches at Hurricane Peach Days.

Be sure not to miss the annual Peach Days parade, pickleball and cornhole tournaments, 12K run and Pioneer Corner. There’s always local entertainment throughout the event too.

The annual Hurricane Peach Days is just one of the reasons to love the St. George area! For more information on Saint George real estate please contact me anytime.
