St. George Utah is hot, hot, hot this summer with events throughout the month of June. Therefore, we have found a few that might be of interest to residents and visitors of St. George and surrounding Southern Utah communities.

St. George Utah June 2012 Events

Southern Utah Outdoor Expo

June 15 – 17, this all day event will focus on the outdoors. You will find highlights of camping, hunting, fishing, biking, hiking and more. There will also be high-end vendors and a pop-up archery shooting contest to make things more exciting.

Event cost is $5 for adults and $1 for children under 12.

Event location: The Dixie Center at 1835 Convention Center Dr. in St. George.

Summer Sports Camp

Monday, June 25th through Thursday, June 28th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm each day. Admission is free for the 5th annual Summer Youth Sports Camp that is open to boys and girls ages 5 -12. Children ages 5-6 will learn the ‘ins’ and ‘outs’ of T-ball while they create crafts and enjoy snacks. Children ages 7-12 get to try their hand at basketball and soccer. They will learn team building, new skills and more from talented and compassionate coaches through biblical examples. The first 120 kids to register will get free t-shirts.

Parents and friends are encouraged to come out Thursday evening to watch the final matches and closing awards ceremonies.

WCBRA Barrel Race

June 25th from 6:30pm to 10:00pm come out and enjoy barrel racing at 5500 W. 700 S. in Hurricane, UT. For more information contact Dana Hulet at 435-632-0745.
