Red Hills Desert Garden has the most spectacular Christmas Lights this year! Every year the garden is turned into a sparkling winter wonderland. This year they have outdone themselves with the gorgeous displays throughout the garden. Most of the vegetation is adorned with twinkling lights and the pathways are lit by creative handmade light fixtures. There’s snow flakes gracing the slot canyon and floating lights dancing on the water. 
Ryan White, the manager of Red Hills Desert Garden came up with some very innovative ways to make the lights shine! The garden and Ryan were even highlighted on a segment of Studio 5 on KSL Channel 5 in Salt Lake City. The holiday Red Hills Desert Garden Christmas lights are on now from 5-10 pm every night until New Years. Admission is free and you are able to take as much time as you like meandering through the magical holiday lights. There’s also several benches and swings throughout the park so you can sit back and just enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
My family and I went last night and it was a bit chilly, at least for us southern Utahns! You’ll be very comfortable and able to partake of the holiday spirit if you wear a warm coat. I’d bring some gloves and a hat too, just in case. That way you’ll be prepared to take your time and not miss any of the displays.
