There will be a homeowner event in St. George, UT today and Wednesday (Oct. 2 & 3). Bank of America Homeowners who needs assistance with their mortgage will have a chance to meet with Bank of America officials at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1731 S Convention Center Dr. from 8am to 7pm both days. You can register for the event or come by as a walk-in.
You are required to bring identification, such as a driver’s license or a state issued identification card. If you registered for the event, you should bring your confirmation with you. To pre-register, visit www.bankofamerica.com/homeownerevent.
To help Bank of America officials determine what home loan assistance program you qualify for, you should bring proper documents which will vary with each case. What else to expect at the homeowner event:
Information workshop – You may be required to take a 30-minute workshop depending on which event you attend. The workshops will be full of valuable information that will help you understand the loan modification process and what other options are available to you.
Meet with a counselor – In some cases you will need to speak with a non-profit housing counselor that can help you with a monthly budget. Sticking to a budget can help you reach a successful financial status.
Meet with a specialist – You will meet with a Bank of America specialist who will review your information and talk with you about your situation. They will then show you the different options that are available to you.
Exit survey – Before you leave the event, you will be asked to take a brief survey as you leave. Your valued feedback will help Bank of America improve their assistance program where needed.
