St. George and Southern Utah have a lot of Halloween Happenings this October 2012. You will find haunted woods, a zombie 5k and a field of screams, plus many more events. So, it’s time to get ready for trick or treat, spooky dress and celebration this fall. Here is a list of some events you will find this year in Southern UT.
√ Field of Screams – Enjoy an evening of screams in a wide open field, you never know what will happen…
Date: Now through October 31
Times: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from dark till 11pm
Location: Staheli Farm
√ Halloween on the Town – This is Southern Utah’s first Haunted Cave and family friendly, “Spooky Town Fair”. The haunted cave is open each weekend in October with highlights of local school talent and creativity inside a solid rock cave. The “Spooky Town Fair” is a one-day event that will be held in downtown St. George in Town Square on October 27 from 10am to 6pm. You will get to enjoy live entertainment and fun activities.
Dates: Each weekend in October & fair on Oct. 27th.
Times: All day & fair from 10am to 6pm.

Price: $10 per person
√ 5th Annual Monster Dash – This event includes a 1K, a zombie walk, a 5k, prizes, plus best costume and best zombie.
Date: October 26
Location: St. George Town Square
Price: $25 for 5k, $10 for 1k, other free.
√ Monster Mash – This is Southern Utah’s biggest Halloween dance party. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Spirit of Children Charity.
Date: October 26 college students, October 27 high school students
√ Young, Wild & Free – A favorite dance event for middle school and high school students, plus a costume contest. A $500 grand prize will be presented each night.
Date: October 26 and 27
Time: 7pm to 1am
√ Haunted Hollow at Willow Glen Inn – The Willow Glen Inn and the Willow Glen Theatre and Second Studio at SUU will be hosting a haunted hollow. Keeping with family entertainment, the haunted hollow will have different themes for walks. Monday is family night with no zombies. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights will have zombies trying to stop all trespassers…it’s fearful fun.

Times: 7pm to 10pm
√ Y.E.T.I’s Monster Ball – This is a great event filled with costume contests, dance off’s, prizes, games and lots of fun. The youth “Spooktacular” for kids 12 and under and lots of goodies will also be a hot event.
