St. George UT Bubble Run, Rockwell Relay and More
It’s time to enjoy fun in the sun and great outdoors of St. George Utah and surrounding Southern Utah communities. This month there will be a lot of great things to see and do in St. George UT so bring your family and friends out to enjoy these super outdoor activities across Southern Utah.
St. George UT Events:
√ Bubble Run – The Bubble Run is a 5K of bubbly fun. All runners will pass through Bubble Zones at each kilometer. Participants will emerge covered in colorful bubbles and foam.
- Date: June 7, 2014
- Time: 9 am to 12 pm
- Location: Ridgetop Complex at 317 S. Donlee Dr. St. George UT
- Admission: $50 – kids 6 and under race free with adult admission
√ Narrows Service Project – Join the fun of a 7-mile hike through the Zion Narrows to experience the spectacular area with a naturalist who will teach you all about geology, animals and plants that are native to the area. Most of the walk will take place on the Virgin River so be prepared to get wet since you will walk over many river rocks on your journey. You will also learn about the powerful flash floods that have shaped the local landscape. And, you’ll be amazed at the hanging gardens of Navajo sandstone that form all along the canyon. The hike is limited to 11 participants per group.

- Location: Temple of Sinawava (Riverside Walk), 12 Canyon Scenic Drive. Zion National Park
- Ages: 16 and up
- Admission: $60
√ Rockwell Relay – The Rockwell Relay is a fun road cycling race that begins in Moab and ends at the St. George Bluff Street Park the following day. The event is a non-stop race that is based on a relay format of 4 cyclists per team with each team member riding 3 legs that consists of 40 – 50 miles per leg for a grand total of 150 miles for each team member. The route will take each cyclist through the amazing scenery of Southern Utah.

- Admission: Free
