St. George, UT Fall 2013 Fun

Fall in St. George UT is an exciting time of year. There are so many outdoor activities to enjoy for the whole family. Therefore, I have found some local events you can enjoy with both friends and family.

St. George UT Events

St. George Marathon “I Am Able” – This run, walk and roll, “I Am Able”, is a new marathon event in St. George. There are two distances you can choose from; a 260 yard and a .7 mile. Whether you can walk, run or roll this is the event for you. You can even participate in teams. Each participant will get a t-shirt, Mayor’s Walk breakfast, and bib number. The entry fee is $10 per team.

Packet pick up: October 4th from 9am to 9pm at the Dixie Convention Center

Time: 7 am

Location: Children’s Museum, 86 South Main

A Taste of Dixie & Spooky Town Fair – One big fall festival with family friendly activities, over 100 vendors, live entertainment, food, local artists and more fun.

Date: October 25 & 26, 2013

Location: St. George Town Square

Time: All Day

Tonaquint Fall Festival & Pumpkin Alley – Bring your ghosts and goblins out to enjoy games, crafts, a pumpkin decorating contest and much more. There will also be a fortune teller, face painting, and tattoos.

Date: October 28, 2013

Time: 5 pm to 7 pm

Location: Tonaquint Nature Center, 1851 S Dixie Dr. St. George, UT

Boo-Nanza – Spooky fun at the SHAC with haunted canoe rides and Witch’s Brew Floats. There will also be a drive-in Halloween movie – Hotel Transylvania! Don’t forget your floaties and inner tubes.

Time: 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm

Location: Sand Hallow Aquatic Center, 1144 N Lava Flow Dr. St. George, UT

Price: $8 per family

Halloween Carnival – Get your costumes on and come out to the St. George Recreation Center to get your trick or treating started. Come play games like Halloween Bingo, do arts and crafts, and more. There will be a costume contest for the scariest, funniest, and best costume for kids 5 and under.

Time: 4 to 7 pm
