St George Utah Rodeo-Dixie Round Up Sept. 11,12 & 13, 2014

Downtown St George Utah

It’s time once again for the annual Dixie Round-Up Rodeo in St George Utah sponsored by the St George Lions Club.  The theme this year is “Roundin’ Em Up for 80 Years”. This will be the 80th year the rodeo has been held!  True to tradition, the rodeo is always held during the second week of September each year and runs for 3 days.  In 2014 those dates are September 11th-13th.  The event is held at the Dixie Sun Bowl which is in downtown St George.

The Dixie Round-Up is a favorite event for many of the locals and has become a family tradition for generations.  Cowboys and cowgirls display their skills and talent at roping, barrel racing and of course bull riding.  Watching the junior cowboys and cowgirls participate in mutton busting is one of the cutest things you’ll ever see!

Thursday September 11th is “kids night” – children 11 & under are free with a paying adult
