There will be many super events in and around St. George, UT this April. Therefore, I have compiled a list of some that you may enjoy this month.
Easter Jeep Safari
When: Wednesday, Apr 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Where: Moab, UT
Description: The Safari consists of trail rides, mostly day-long trips, departing from Moab throughout this week long event. The Red Rock 4-Wheelers of Moab officially run about nine different trails every day, with “Big Saturday” culminating in the largest-ever single trail ride departure – around 30 groups line up in downtown Moab to head off in every direction for 30 different trails!
The Downtown Farmers Market – Art in the Square
When: Fri, April 6, 12pm – 6pm
Where: Main & St. George Blvd, St. George, UT
Description: Come on out and enjoy the weekend in Ancestor Square with the Downtown Farmers Market, there will be music on the center stage, local art and crafts and some fresh farm produce. Look forward to seeing locally made pottery, hand knit scarves, one of a kind sculptures, rescued barbies, scroll wood and wood craft artistry, wood turned bowls, assortment of jewelry artists, chainsaw carvings and fresh produce, such as, lettuce, spaghetti squash, rhubarb and swiss chard. Music for Friday will be provided by Johnny Van from 4:30 to 6:00 pm, and on Saturday, music will be provided by Karl Withakay from 12:30 to 3:00 pm and Sunset Corner from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
27th Annual Rotary Easter Car Show
When: Sat, April 7, 9am – 5pm
Where: Hurricane Community Center, 100 West 100 South, Hurricane, UT
Description: Thje Car Show a place to gather; whether entering a car or just enjoying the sights. The Rotary Club of Hurricane Valley hosts approximately 8,000-10,000 visitors to the area for the Car Show. Your charitable donation of $5.00 gets you into the show and children under six (6) are free.
AGC: Spring Scholarship Golf Tournament
When: Fri, April 13, 8:45am – 2:00pm
Where: Valderra Golf Course, The Ledges, St. George, UT

Kayenta Street Painting Festival
When: Sat, April 14, 8am – 6pm
Where: Coyote Gulch Art Village, Kayenta, Ivins, UT
Description: This two-day performance art event brings local artists, students and professional street painters together in an amazing collaborative event bringing colorful chalk murals to the streets of the Coyote Gulch Art Village. With the asphalt as a canvas and chalk as the medium, large painted murals will unfold at the feet of the spectators. Come on Saturday morning, the first day, to see the early sketches of the works and see the student competition. Come back Sunday to see local professional artists complete their masterpieces. FREE
