The Winter Bird Festival in St George begins Thursday January 28, 2016 and continues through Saturday, January 30, 2016. This annual festival takes place at Tonaquint Park and Nature Center, located at 1851 S. Dixie Drive in St. George, Utah.
Presented by the Red Cliffs Audubon Society, the St. George Winter Bird Festival is meant for both beginning and advanced bird enthusiasts to learn more about the care, type and history of all different species of birds. The festival will include field trips, workshops, speakers, exhibits and much more.
Cost: $10 individual/ $15 per couple for a 3 day general admission pass
Banquet cost $20

Thursday January 28, 2016:
6pm-7:30pm. – Kick Off Presentation-Wintering Birds of Washington County-Presenter Rick Fridell-held at the Children’s Museum, 86 S Main St St George UT 84770
Friday January 29, 2016:
7am-10:30 pm – Field trips
9am-8pm – Presentations and workshops at The Tonaquint Nature Area
Saturday January 30, 2016:
7:00am-1:30pm – Field trips
9am-2:30pm – Presentations and workshops at The Tonaquint Nature Area
6pm-8:30pm – Banquet at Best Western Abbey Inn (1129 South Bluff Street, St. George). A presentation- “Raptor Education in the West” will be given by Kate Davis. Tickets for banquet are $20 each.
