You can’t beat a free round of golf at Sun River Golf course in St George Utah! If the temperature is over 100 degrees, the golf is free. All you have to pay for is the cart fee of $16, that’s a pretty good deal. Because we haven’t seen many days this year reach 100 degrees yet, SunRiver Golf course is currently offering this great rate after 1pm every day.
Built in the Sun River active adult 55+ community, the Sun River golf course is on the south side of the St. George area, right on the Utah / Arizona border. It sits right next to the Virgin River and is said to have some of the best greens in the state. The 6,700-yard course features a mix of short and long holes to test golfers of different skill levels. Golfers enjoy the panoramic views of beautiful desert vistas, red rock cliffs and the mountains that surround the Virgin River Gorge.
The Sun River Golf course is open to the public and has quite a few members, including many residents of the Sun River active adult community. Tee times can be reserved up to 21 days in advance, with green fees that average between $52-$62, for 18 holes with a cart. Twilight fees, punch passes, and annual memberships are available at discounted rates. Carts rentals are optional.
