Fourth of July at Vernon Worthen Park in St George Utah is an annual event and tradition for many residents! The park is located at 300 S 400 E St George Utah. Festivities are being held this year on Friday, July 4th, 2014.
Start your day off with the Uncle Sam 5K run at 6:30 am.
There’s a home cooked breakfast provided by Staheli’s Catering (7:30am-10:00am) in the park – The menu includes pancakes, eggs & hashbrowns.
This year’s parade, “It’s a Grand Ole Flag” begins at 8:00 am. Line the streets around Vernon Worthen Park to get a good view of this fun parade! It is free to enter a float or group and prizes will be awarded.

City of St. George Independence Day Fun and Games Extravaganza! Bring the whole family for a fun day in the park. Many activities are free: There will be music, food booths, face painting, cotton candy, watermelon seed spitting contest, potato sack races, bounce houses, water wars, dunk tank, our famous 100 foot Slip-n-Slide and a few new surprises! New this year will be indoor activities offered at the St. George Recreation Center which will include Extreme Dodgeball, Kids Crafts Corner, and big movie!!

Giant Fireworks Display A spectacular fireworks display will begin at approximately 10:00 pm following the free concert. KONY Radio will broadcast live, during the FREE CONCERT at 8:00 pm and will also provide special musical accompaniment throughout the fireworks display.
