The 2015 Washington County Fair in Southern Utah
The Washington County Fair in Southern Utah is back once again this 2015 season. This year will honor all the Super Heroes around the world. It will be a day of heroes that serve, inspire, share and volunteer their talent in hundreds of different ways. You will meet your favorite Avenger Super Heroes each day of the fair. You can even take selfie’s with Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America and Hawkeye. And, you can have them sign your shirt. These super heroes can be found all over the Washington County Fair in Southern Utah.
Washington County Fair in Southern Utah Highlights
Free Zip Line: You can fly like your favorite super hero in your own cape and costume of your choice. The zip line will be open the entire day each day of the fair. It will be located on the front lawn near the entrance of the fair. It’s also free for all ages so everyone can have fun, fun, fun.
Elephant Encounters: This super strong, educational and entertaining attractions will have you smiling all day long. It’s the perfect attraction for the Washington County Fair in Southern Utah. You will be guided through an up close and personal encounter with the world’s largest land animals and you will be able to experience the full force of each elephant’s unique personality. These enormous animals weigh thousands of pounds ranging from 7,500 to 10,000 pounds. There will be daily shows throughout the fair. This attraction can be found next to the Zip Line attraction.
Comics Costume Crusader Party: Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes to the Washington County Fair in Southern Utah. There will be a special night that will be dedicated to all costume crusaders. So, put together you favorite costume and come out to enjoy a day full of fun. The costume night will be Thursday, August 14 2015 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the covered outdoor arena. There will be cash prizes and door prizes for the best costumes. All your favorite super heroes will be at this event.
Strolling Robots: This year at the Washington County Fair in Southern Utah you can meet Robonosis and Synergy who walk, talk and are interactive robots. They were featured on Shark Tank and America’s Got Talent.
Scales & Tails of Utah: You will be screaming, smiling and laughing as you interact with other animals such as lizards, snakes, creepy crawlers, alligators, tortoises and birds. This attraction is a fun interaction for the whole family. There will be three shows daily, so don’t miss out.
Fair Train Express: No need to walk from parking to the fair grounds. There will be a train for fun transportation to get you to the gate and back to your car after the fair. There is no cost but tips will probably be appreciated.
