The Kiwanis Club will be hosting their Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the southwest corner of Vernon Worthen Park, 300 East 300 South, St George UT on Saturday April 23, 2011. The festivities kick off with a pancake breakfast at 8 am and the Easter egg hunt following at 10 am. This event is open to all of the children of Washington County (and visitors too!) Cost for the breakfast is $3 each, or $10 per family (up to 5 members). Proceeds from the event help offset the cost of the Easter Egg Hunt and support other Kiwanis activities. Be sure and bring the family to enjoy this fun event!
The 26th Annual Easter Car Show is being held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 in Hurricane Utah.urricane This event is sponsored by the Hurricane Rotary Club. Located at the Hurricane City Community Center, 50 South 100 West, Hurricane Utah. The car show has become a tradition for many families in the area. The Rotary Club hosts between 8,000 and 10,000 visitors to the show each year. Over 300 entries will be present, from all over the west. New Mexico, Nevada, California and Wyoming to name a few of the states represented. The show begins at 9 am and runs until 5 pm. A charitable donation of $5 for adults gets visitors into the show and children under 6 are free.
The Annual Easter Concert performed by the Southern Utah Heritage Choir is being held Saturday, April 22, 2011, 7 pm at the St George Tabernacle, 18 S. Main Street, St George Utah and Sunday, April 24, 2011, 7:30 pm at the Dixie State College, Cox Auditorium, 225 South 700 East, St George Utah. The choir is pleased to present this performance for everyone, free of charge.
