This community is different than Bloomington because it allows horses and animals on the larger lots, sometimes up to an acre of land. Part of the Washington County School District: Residents of Bloomington Ranches are assigned to the Bloomington elementary school, the Tonaquint intermediate school for grades 6 and 7, and the Dixie high school. These schools are between a half a mile and 3 1/2 miles from the entrance to most homes in Bloomington Ranches.
