Kayenta Arts Foundation Street Painting Festival
Have you ever seen or been a part of a street painting festival before? It is so neat to watch the streets of Kayenta Arts Foundation filled with hand-painted art for the community to see. Be a part of this super neat festival, come support the arts, and give back to a charitable organization. Every year, the foundation holds an arts festival in the streets where students and professionals come together and make the streets works of art. All ages are welcome. Come out and enjoy music, yummy food, and original art.
Kayenta Arts Foundation is a great resource and outlet for the community as they aim to educate, advocate, and bring out the best in art. Art comes in all forms and it is important to foster originality and diversity in this area. Kayenta holds other events throughout the year such as The Neaderthal within Us on April 18th, The Making of a Muralist on April 28th, and several others. In the fall, they have an Art in Kayenta festival which comes in October.
Kayenta Arts Foundation is located in Ivins which is just outside of St George and is in the community of Kayenta. This is an ideal area to put an art festival of this nature because of the gorgeous weather we have here. See the magic and the vivid colors come to life right before. Join the spectators or join in the painting.
Admission is free. All donations are welcome at the festival.
