Red Rock Fun Run, Walk & Roll- St George

This Saturday, March 11, enjoy some quality family fun at the Red Rock Fun Run, Walk & Roll 5k. This event is open to the community and is for a great cause. The Red Rock Center for Independence is raising money for their organization to help people of all ages with disabilities. Participating in the fun run will help serve the people of Southwestern Utah for the long run.

Red Rock Center for Independence

The RRCI strives to provide the services to the people who need it at no cost. Services provided include advocacy, peer support, a youth program, assistive technology, independent living skills training, nursing home transition, and more. They are a great service to our community and host events throughout the year to not only engage and inform the community, but to also help raise funds.

RRCI has a cooking club that meets weekly. They also have a youth and older youth group that meet weekly. For services, resources, and events, please visit http://rrci.org/.

Run, walk, or jog for a wonderful benefit. A 5k is 3.10 miles total which can easily be walked. Bring out all of your friends, family, and help spread the word. Donations are always welcomed if you cannot come.

When: Saturday March 11 @ 8:00 (Fun Run starts at 8:30)

Where: Crosby Confluence Park, 2099 S Convention Center Drive, St George

Cost:

  • Single, $15
  • Family, $10 for first applicant and $5 for each additional family member
