With 7,400 acres of natural and very impressive resources, Snow Canyon State Park has lava flows, sandstone cliffs, and of course, canyons with rivers running through them. If you are looking to get outdoors, this is the place to participate in any kind of outdoor activity. Top outdoor activities to enjoy here include hiking, camping, biking, horse-back riding, and enjoying the views of nature and wildlife all around in their natural habitat.
This is the ideal park for camping and fishing all year long. Quail Creek offers fishing for rainbow trout, bullhead catfish, and crappie. You can also find largemouth bass and bluegill fish stocked in the creek. Visitors and locals enjoy bringing their boat out on the water to fish, water ski, and wakeboard.
Sand Hollow is famous for sand dunes. It is 20,000 acres and one of the most visited parks in Utah for recreation. Enjoy boating, water sporting, or ATV riding at Sand Mountain which is 15,000 acres of sand dunes. The Sand Hollow reservoir is beautiful and can be seen from Sand Mountain as you are out riding. Other fun outdoor sports at Sand Hollow include horse riding and biking.
This is your destination for fishing bass and catfish, boating, water sports, and enjoying the small town, country life. The town of Gunlock is a small farming community tucked away near a scenic park and reservoir.
