4th of July Celebration in St George 2022 – This holiday celebration starts with the Uncle Sam 4k and goes all day! The fun will begin early at 6:30 am with the traditional Uncle Sam 4K, which takes runners through Historic Downtown St George. The race starts and ends at Town Square Park.
Carnival Midway Attractions will be at Town Square Park for the big celebration too! But they will be there the weekend before the 4th of July for 4 days. The carnival begins on Friday, July 1, 2022 and goes through Monday, July 4th, 2022. Games, rides and fun carnival food will all be featured this year.
The Mega Pass will be available to purchase, and is good for events on July 4th. The Mega Pass includes unlimited access to all the rides (not games), attractions, and events that are part of the 4th of July Celebration. . Each Mega Pass is only good for one person for the 4th of July. Multiple Mega Passes will be needed for multiple people in your group. Pre-sales of the Mega pass are available at the St George City Commons building for $30 per pass. You may also purchase the Mega Pass on the 4th of July on site for $40 per pass.
Choose some or all of the events to take part in. No matter how you spend your 2022 Independence Day, as long as it’s with your local St. George friends and family, it’s sure to be a fun filled day.
All of the 4th of July 2022 celebration fun will be held at Town Square Park this year. St George Town Square Park is located in downtown St George at 89 S. Main Street. 4th of July Celebration in St George 2022 Events:
6:30 am – Uncle Same 4K at the St. George Recreation Center.
7:45 am – “Freedom & Fireworks” is the theme for the St George 4th of July Celebration Parade. The parade is presented this year by Stephen Wade Auto Center. The route will go down Tabernacle Street starting at 200 W and will head toward and around Vernon Worthen Park ending on 200 South. Make sure you find a good spot to sit and enjoy the patriotic floats.
10:30 am – “Star Search Talent Show” presented by State Bank of Southern Utah. This show is open to anyone and everyone that want to compete with a “family friendly” act. Dancing, singing, musical instruments, magic show…..you name it! Whatever your special talent is, we want to see it. 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm – 99.9 KONY Radio 4th of July Celebration featuring Dustin Lynch concert. Held at the Greater Zion Stadium on the Dixie State Campus. This is a ticketed event, pre-sale price is $18 plus fees. The week of the show ticket prices go up to $24 plus fees. Everyone must have a ticket, including babies. 10:00 pm – 4th of July in St George 2022 Grand Finale – Touted as the largest firework show in Southern Utah! This years display will be the largest ever put on by the city. Fireworks will be launched from Dixie State University. A spectacular fireworks display following the free concert. Tune to 99.9 KONY Radio for special patriotic music throughout the fireworks display. Free firework viewing spot is at Utah Tech Encampment Mall located by the Holland Building on Dixie State Campus. It’s open to everyone! No ticket required. One of the best spots in town to see the fireworks, NO PETS allowed.
